💎 Care by Material

Moissanite & Cubic Zirconia (CZ)

  • The Glow Factor: Moissanite is incredibly durable (9.25 on the Mohs scale), while CZ is more delicate. Both tend to attract oils and lotions, which dulls their fire.

  • Cleaning: Use warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap. Gently scrub with a soft-bristled toothbrush, focusing on the underside of the stone where buildup occurs.

  • Tip: Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth to avoid water spots.

925 Sterling Silver

  • The Oxidation Rule: Silver naturally reacts with sulfur in the air, causing it to tarnish (turn black).

  • Best Practice: Wear it often! The natural oils in your skin actually help prevent tarnish.

  • Storage: When not in use, store your silver in an airtight ziplock bag.

  • Polishing: Use a dedicated silver polishing cloth. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, as they can scratch the soft metal.

Stainless Steel / Titanium Steel

  • The Durable Choice: This material is highly resistant to rust and corrosion.

  • Maintenance: Low maintenance. Simply wipe with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints.

  • Water Exposure: While stainless steel is generally water-resistant, we recommend removing it before swimming in chlorinated pools or saltwater to preserve the finish.

🚫 The "Four S" Rule

To ensure longevity, remember to remove your jewelry during the Four S’s:

  1. Sleeping: Prevents snagging and accidental bending.

  2. Sweating: Sweat can react with certain metals and dull the stones.

  3. Showering: Soaps and hard water create a film on gemstones.

  4. Swimming: Chlorine and salt are harsh enemies of metal plating.

💡 Pro-Tips for Longevity

  • “Last On, First Off”: Always put your jewelry on after applying perfume, hairspray, and lotion. Take it off first before starting your skincare routine.

  • Chemical Warning: Keep jewelry away from household cleaners, bleach, and nail polish remover.

  • Individual Storage: Store pieces separately in soft pouches or lined boxes to prevent them from scratching each other (especially since Moissanite can easily scratch Zirconia or Silver).
