Moissanite is stable in nature and will not change color or shine even after long-term wearing. However, it is lipophilic and hydrophobic, so it requires regular maintenance. The following three maintenance methods must be kept in mind!
1.Here are some handy tips for cleaning Mosang at home by yourself! (Suitable for daily cleaning)
Pour a little dishwashing liquid into a cup, add some hot water and dissolve it. Put the Moissan diamond ring in it and let it soak for a while. When you take it out, it will be very shiny again. You can use a small brush to brush the hollowed-out areas a few times and they will be clean (don’t apply too much force!) Then rinse it with clean water and dry it with a dry cotton cloth.

2. Quick First Aid Method (Restore flash in 1 minute!)
Spray the jewelry cleaner, wipe the crevices with a cotton swab, and it will shine brightly!
3. Deep cleaning (once a month)
ultrasonic cleaner (for models without coating and firmly embedded only), take out and dry after 3 minutes.
Four daily Indos for Moissanite diamond rings
1. Do not come into contact with cosmetics or oil stains
Reason: Moissanite is oleophilic and has an “oil-absorbing constitution”! The kitchen is its natural enemy. When skin care products, sunscreen or kitchen fumes come into contact with them, it will be like being covered with a layer of mist, getting darker and darker the more you wear them!
2.Do not come into contact with bleach/detergent
Reason: bleach and powerful cleaning agents can corrode the metal of the ring setting (especially silver-coated/alloy types), causing it to turn black and develop spots as soon as it comes into contact!
3.Avoid colliding with hard objects
⚠️ Reason: Moissanite has a hardness of 9.25, but is highly brittle! Hitting the corner of the table or the edge of the tile may cause chipping or cracking!
4.It is not advisable to wear or place it together with other jewelry
⚠️ Reason: Put together with gold/pearl/mother-of-pearl? Moissanite will scratch them!
